Social Studies

Social Studies centers around student questions and inquiry. Students learn about the world through authentic, multimodal materials that push them to think outside of their experiences and consider different perspectives. Students draw from background knowledge and make connections to the world around them in order to make deeper ties to their global community. Students create original work – from posters to podcasts to presentations – to share their learning with others and advocate for issues they care about.
