Student Voice
SVC
The Student Voice Committee is a student leadership team composed of individuals who are actively seeking to improve the Burley School experience every day. They seek to partner directly with administration on persistent problems the school is actively seeking to address. As a key partner in school improvement, they are a part of school quality assessment, school visioning and planning, and the decision making processes.
Here at Burley, we work to elevate youth perspectives and expertise to better understand the problems schools face and strengthen the decisions schools and teachers make. This program further encourages the development of youth leadership skills.
Burley's Student Voice Committee is made up of students 5th-8th grade who are interested in leadership opportunities at Burley. The committee is 2 years old and continues to grow in its size and influence within the school community.
